the benevolent postcard society.
there’s no doubt we live in a digital age; long gone are days where we await anxiously by the mailbox hoping for a note from a loved one or friend abroad. enter the benevolent postcard society, an art project, social experiment and postcard exchange tied all into one, the bps aims to connect people through a random exchange of postcards, both handmade and readymade.

guy: this is stupid.
– overheard: a couple standing in line at crate & barrel, guy complaining about the glass bowl full of fake fruit he’s holding. girl shoots him a dirty look after his remark.
disclaimer.
sorry, going to be shallow here for one second:
i’d like to meet a nice, indie gentleman who appreciates both iron & wine and t-pain with whom i can eventually walk down an aisle with under a huge oak tree, vintage chandeliers, and we’ll hire a vest-donning, hat-wearing, striped-button-down laden bluegrass band and a vintage photo booth.
